Skunky, you need some guns with walnut on them.

June 25, 2003, 02:03 AM
Hey Skunk, Which one is you, The little one or the big one?

June 25, 2003, 02:15 AM
archlight, can someone still get that HK USC or SL8-1 in the US?

June 25, 2003, 02:26 AM
Hey Skunk, Which one is you, The little one or the big one?

The one that's black on the bottom and white on top, with the carbon fiber...duhhh :D

June 25, 2003, 05:34 AM
.. can someone still get that HK USC or SL8-1 in the US?
Yeah, they're all over the place. Take a look at GunsAmerica's site.

You need to get aquainted with these two little words..

Rit Dye! ;)

Sorry, Skunk, but my family is allergic to cameras..

Faustulus...getting Siggy widdit, are we?

June 25, 2003, 10:30 AM
faustulus... you lucky skunk :D

wombat, As far as I know, yes, you can still buy them. Search for SL8-1 or USC 45 with "Partial Match Logic" and "Search item titles and descriptions" on gunbroker, brings up a few matches.

ATF GUY 1: "I love these threads."
ATF GUY 2: "Oh, me too."
ATF Guy 3: "Makes our jobs so much easier."
ATF GUY 1: "Yup. Now we know who to raid first."
ATF GUY 2: "ZekeLuvs1911 first, then Arcli9ht, and Skunk."
ATF GUY 3: "45R too."
ATF GUY 2: "Why him?"
ATF GUY 1: "Because I raided him yesterday and took all his knives."

That ain't a collection to the ATF:neener:

June 25, 2003, 11:23 PM
That was what I found in the "box" after taking it away from DeNiro after he filmed the movie Ronin. :)

June 26, 2003, 12:02 AM

June 26, 2003, 12:07 AM
Oh, sure.

The ATF can't use the info off 4473's or Brady Bill Background Checks, they gotta troll for pictures on THR. Some more Reynold's Wrap, bro? ;)

Here, Agent Schmuckatelli: MOLON LABE!

Some more for ya...

...and more...

June 26, 2003, 12:12 AM
tamara, you got some sweet class 3 stuff! cool! Nice 93R. Where in the hell did you get that P90?

June 26, 2003, 12:14 AM
Pssst! Combat-Wombat, the bottom three guns in the first picture are airsofts. Don't tell anyone. ;)

June 26, 2003, 12:15 AM
I geussed that, there are only 9 93rs in the US! I'm just tired so I was easily fooled.

June 26, 2003, 12:18 AM
Bonus points for identifying the other five guns in the top pic, though... ;) (One of them is pretty tricky. :D )

June 26, 2003, 12:26 AM
I don't know which HK Imports are called what (Hk 91, HK 94, etc) so I'll just say "G3 Clone" or whatever.

G3 clone
Beretta AR-70
Some kind of FAL
AK-47 clone
A rifle from Singapore? An SR-88A, maybe?

If I'm wrong, let me keep guessing.

Navy joe
June 26, 2003, 12:29 AM
I'll help him since I want one and can't get it yet. That there is a FAL eating out of a AR mag. Too cool.

June 26, 2003, 01:02 AM
Uhhh, not Singapore... Maybe a Daewoo from South Korea?

June 26, 2003, 01:05 AM
HK91, Beretta AR70, Daewoo DR200, "Meeper" .223 FAL conversion, and Norinco AKM/47S.

June 26, 2003, 01:06 AM

June 26, 2003, 01:44 AM
Skunk: :D oh and the 220 is in Super 38.

If it is german or eastern european count me in.

Airsofts or no I feel downright inadaquate now. :(

June 26, 2003, 02:01 AM
If I had a digital camera, I'd take a photo of my collection. But I don't, so I'll just post a photo of me and my favorite EBR (I was playing with surplus uniform gear that day too :p)

June 26, 2003, 02:02 AM
If ATF agents get to cruise the gun boards...I'm sending my resume in tomorrow!!!

June 26, 2003, 03:19 AM
Inside the little black case next to the knives is an arsenal. Included with the directions. "Just add water" I was going to dunk the whole thing in a bucket of water but this is what I got with a drop. :) I think the bad guys in Ronin were on to something........

June 26, 2003, 11:38 AM
45R: That picture would probably be considered porn on some of the forums - esp. by those WWII collectors. My goodness, its a carbine orgy! if they only actually BRED...

June 26, 2003, 02:51 PM if they only actually BRED...

It doesn't work, I tried it w/ my Berettas :(

June 26, 2003, 03:03 PM
I have to fetch my shotguns from work so I can take a picture.
Watch for my next posting in this thread...

June 26, 2003, 03:08 PM
Cripes, he's gonna post a piccie of that friggin' Neostead again, and I'm slap out of drool towels... :uhoh:

June 26, 2003, 03:16 PM

Jeez Tam, That's a family I'd like to marry into !:D
Nice Collection.........;)

June 26, 2003, 05:00 PM

I'm glad you liked the carbines. ITs too bad you cant roll around in bed with all those they do with cash.........

Here is a family of little vampires.

(This is a small collection of knives between my friend Alex and I taken sometime last year.)

June 26, 2003, 05:04 PM
And these are the family neighborhood ducks that come over daily for a little bread and water. I secretly think they are trying to find my stash of shotshells to throw back at hunters during hunting season.

July 1, 2003, 08:15 PM
Here is some of my 45 family, there older brother is not in the picture, he is working on my hip during the photo opt.

July 1, 2003, 08:53 PM
Norwegian people suck!!! :banghead:

July 1, 2003, 09:42 PM
Calm down, man; only two of those guns in his portrait are unobtainium here in los Estados Unidos.

...and I run hot and cold on the Neostead (Yeah, it's way funky and oozes Iwannacoolgunvirus, but the only shotgun I own is a beat-up ex-po-po 870 that I'm perfectly happy with: if I won't lay out for a Benelli, why would I buy a Neostead?). I'd definitely like a crack at the stubby SIG, however... :uhoh:

July 1, 2003, 10:17 PM
Taking deep breaths..

"Serenity Now.. Serenity Now.."

Awwww, I feel much better now.

(You realize that I was only kiddin', right? ) ;)

July 1, 2003, 10:29 PM

July 1, 2003, 10:38 PM
It's not everything, of course, but here's a little "homeland defense." :)

July 1, 2003, 11:00 PM
I hate you Kobun!

July 1, 2003, 11:34 PM

Howdy, Snake Eyes.

You've got a collection of guns that would even make Tamara proud..:D

July 2, 2003, 12:50 AM
The current handgun stable... Subject to change without notice... (I'm pretty sure this is all of 'em; I patted down all the pockets on the coat tree just to make sure. :uhoh: )

Notice my current effort to corner the market on 3" stainless N-frames? :D

Marko Kloos
July 2, 2003, 03:34 PM
My handgun collection has been distilled to the bare essentials over the last year and a necessity and such.

I got the Beretta Tomcat and Taurus 731UL for my wife. The others are mine...a customized S&W M65 3", a Kel-Tec P32, a CZ-75BD, a customized Springfield Stainless Loaded, and a H&K P7M8.

July 5, 2003, 11:58 AM
My small handgun collection:

Royal Robbins 5.11?

Kobun: if Norway sends its Olympic basketball team over, we'll surrender and become citizens.

July 5, 2003, 03:46 PM
I picked up on that 93 quick, too. Shoulda known...with that P90 beside it...:(

Don't have many of my brood handy, since they're in GA. :(

Here's an old pic of me w/ my 224, though...I'm really most fond of the M252 (, though. Since we're (SBCT) getting 120's with inserts, we're phasing the 252's out of our TOE. I hate the 120mm.

Former family, on the last day I had her...!+Photo+Album/JStar.jpg?BC2MzB_AmVd9Alks

July 5, 2003, 09:18 PM
Tamara, what kind of gun is that on the bottom left hand side with the curved wooden grip?

Marko Kloos
July 5, 2003, 10:17 PM
Royal Robbins 5.11?

Why, yes...that's a RR5.11 vest, "The Purse You Can Wear".

July 5, 2003, 11:44 PM
Here are all that are in the stable: Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Jimmy, the twins, Pee Wee and wierd uncle Erwin. Not a black gun among them - what would anyone need one of those things for anyway?

July 6, 2003, 12:55 AM
Tamara, what kind of gun is that on the bottom left hand side with the curved wooden grip?

If it's the one I think you mean, it's a replica .32 caliber, four-barrel pepperbox. Extremely fun if you load it with cap and powder but no ball, deliberately hoping for a chainfire... :D

July 6, 2003, 12:02 PM
That's sweet! Nice pic, too.:)

July 7, 2003, 12:25 AM
....If it's the one I think you mean, it's a replica .32 caliber, four-barrel pepperbox. Extremely fun if you load it with cap and powder but no ball, deliberately hoping for a chainfire...

Every time I hear about pepperboxes, I always think of Mark Twain's comments about one going to "...fetch an ace of spades nailed to a tree, but instead fetching a mule standing about thirty yards to the left..."

One of these days I'm going to get a LeMat - surely that's a BP gun that can solve many problems:evil:

July 9, 2003, 11:09 PM
Here's my tiny arsenal. Hopefully soon to multiply.

My 3 guns. (

July 10, 2003, 07:57 PM
Here is my family

Here are the old timers ( The Bolty Clan)

There Semi Kids

The wee ones

Old uncle FA (he needs some freinds, anyone care to donate some?)

And here is a group shot (don't they look nice all playing together?)

July 10, 2003, 11:40 PM
Kingson, where do you sleep? :what:

July 11, 2003, 12:43 AM

July 11, 2003, 12:47 AM

July 11, 2003, 12:49 AM
Sweet leaping .... :what: :what:

When the SHTF, can I come over to your house?;)

July 11, 2003, 01:33 AM
Mom's side of the family; solid farm folk from the mid-west.

Dad's side of the family; mysterious and perhaps even a little evil, from New Jersey and with connections to another infamous 'family'.

July 11, 2003, 02:14 AM
QBG, can you use the irons with that mount on that AR15A2?

July 11, 2003, 04:34 PM
They go back in to there homes when they are done. they all came out for the group shot.

The dog is great I told him to stay about a year ago and he hasn't moved yet.

I dont need to view this thread. I get sad without a "family" like all of you:(. Still waiting on that financial aid (gubmint) to get one.

Billy Sparks
July 12, 2003, 03:55 PM
Okay here is the family. First the little ones.

Then lets not forget the bigger ones.

July 12, 2003, 04:04 PM
Skunk- yeah all the iron sights are usable on all of the ARs with optics. The bottom A2 has the M68 day optic (Aimpoint Comp M) on the ARMS mount that allows co-witnessing of the dot with the front post.

The top M4 type has a GG&G MAD flip up mounted behind the ELCAN; pop off the ELCAN and you're good to go.

The next M4 type has the ARMS #40 flip up rear sight mounted behind the EOtech 550, the flip up can be used without removing the 550.
