wombat, As far as I know, yes, you can still buy them. Search for SL8-1 or USC 45 with "Partial Match Logic" and "Search item titles and descriptions" on gunbroker, brings up a few matches.

ATF GUY 2: "Oh, me too."
ATF Guy 3: "Makes our jobs so much easier."
ATF GUY 1: "Yup. Now we know who to raid first."
ATF GUY 2: "ZekeLuvs1911 first, then Arcli9ht, and Skunk."
ATF GUY 3: "45R too."
ATF GUY 2: "Why him?"
ATF GUY 1: "Because I raided him yesterday and took all his knives."

The ATF can't use the info off 4473's or Brady Bill Background Checks, they gotta troll for pictures on THR. Some more Reynold's Wrap, bro? ;)
Airsofts or no I feel downright inadaquate now. :(
June 26, 2003, 02:01 AM
If I had a digital camera, I'd take a photo of my collection. But I don't, so I'll just post a photo of me and my favorite EBR (I was playing with surplus uniform gear that day too :p)
June 26, 2003, 02:02 AM
If ATF agents get to cruise the gun boards...I'm sending my resume in tomorrow!!!
June 26, 2003, 03:19 AM
Inside the little black case next to the knives is an arsenal. Included with the directions. "Just add water" I was going to dunk the whole thing in a bucket of water but this is what I got with a drop. :) I think the bad guys in Ronin were on to something........
June 26, 2003, 11:38 AM
45R: That picture would probably be considered porn on some of the forums - esp. by those WWII collectors. My goodness, its a carbine orgy!
...now if they only actually BRED...

I'm glad you liked the carbines. ITs too bad you cant roll around in bed with all those guns........like they do with cash.........
Here is a family of little vampires.
(This is a small collection of knives between my friend Alex and I taken sometime last year.)
June 26, 2003, 05:04 PM
And these are the family neighborhood ducks that come over daily for a little bread and water. I secretly think they are trying to find my stash of shotshells to throw back at hunters during hunting season.

July 1, 2003, 08:53 PM
Norwegian people suck!!! :banghead:
July 1, 2003, 09:42 PM
Calm down, man; only two of those guns in his portrait are unobtainium here in los Estados Unidos.
...and I run hot and cold on the Neostead (Yeah, it's way funky and oozes Iwannacoolgunvirus, but the only shotgun I own is a beat-up ex-po-po 870 that I'm perfectly happy with: if I won't lay out for a Benelli, why would I buy a Neostead?). I'd definitely like a crack at the stubby SIG, however... :uhoh:
Kobun: if Norway sends its Olympic basketball team over, we'll surrender and become citizens.
July 5, 2003, 03:46 PM
I picked up on that 93 quick, too. Shoulda known...with that P90 beside it...:(
Don't have many of my brood handy, since they're in GA. :(
Here's an old pic of me w/ my 224, though...I'm really most fond of the M252 (http://www.army.mil/fact_files_site/m252/), though. Since we're (SBCT) getting 120's with inserts, we're phasing the 252's out of our TOE. I hate the 120mm.

July 5, 2003, 10:17 PM
Royal Robbins 5.11?
Why, yes...that's a RR5.11 vest, "The Purse You Can Wear".
July 5, 2003, 11:44 PM
Here are all that are in the stable: Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Jimmy, the twins, Pee Wee and wierd uncle Erwin. Not a black gun among them - what would anyone need one of those things for anyway? :evil:http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?s=&postid=362667

If it's the one I think you mean, it's a replica .32 caliber, four-barrel pepperbox. Extremely fun if you load it with cap and powder but no ball, deliberately hoping for a chainfire... :D

Every time I hear about pepperboxes, I always think of Mark Twain's comments about one going to "...fetch an ace of spades nailed to a tree, but instead fetching a mule standing about thirty yards to the left..."
One of these days I'm going to get a LeMat - surely that's a BP gun that can solve many problems:evil:

Here's my tiny arsenal. Hopefully soon to multiply.
My 3 guns. (http://www.hunt101.com/showphoto.php?photo=51237&size=big&password=&sort=7&thecat=500)

Here is my family
Here are the old timers ( The Bolty Clan)
Skunk- yeah all the iron sights are usable on all of the ARs with optics. The bottom A2 has the M68 day optic (Aimpoint Comp M) on the ARMS mount that allows co-witnessing of the dot with the front post.
The top M4 type has a GG&G MAD flip up mounted behind the ELCAN; pop off the ELCAN and you're good to go.
The next M4 type has the ARMS #40 flip up rear sight mounted behind the EOtech 550, the flip up can be used without removing the 550.
