Where else can I vote away freedoms and choice?

We have those that want to regulate our firearms and take away our "Assault" rifles that are so much deadlier that say a 45-70.

The sheeples republic of AZ has voted away my rights as a property owner, to decide whether or not I can allow smoking in my building.

The state of NY has started the ban of trans fat oils across the country.
(I don't use them) But someone somewhere must have seen a benefit.

Everywhere I seem to turn people are gathering and voting away my choices or freedoms.

Dammit!!!
I want to vote away someone's freedom or choice on something that doesn't affect me.:banghead: :cuss: :neener:

Washingtonians voted away the right of business owners to choose to run a smoking or non-smoking establishment here as well. The worst part about that was a couple of Hookah lounges (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hookah) in Seattle and Olympia had to close down because their business was now illegal. Only one of them survived through a loophole, and that is private membership (charging $1 for an arbitrary membership card), making it a private club instead of a public business. Now they are being prosecuted for that as well!

I just hope that anti-gun legislation is fought a lot harder than the smoking ban was. It's funny to see that people enjoy their freedom by freely voting against freedom.

Oh and to make this more gun related, I carry to the hookah lounge. XD45 bi-tone. :)

People have been brainwashed by all the anti-smoking ads on T.V.
I can't believe how many states/cities ban smoking now.
It's wrong that people can vote to make it illegal and businesses go out of business because of it.

What's worse is that people can vote away a practice that is still legal.
A vote was also taken to prevent people from carrying firearms in restaurants that serve alcohol.
I WANT law abiding citizens to carry in my place.
Never had a problem, hope I never do, but I would sure like it if you had your gun too if SHTF!

Sort of a preaching to the choir type of rant...And while maybe soul-satisfying, it doesn't accomplish much.
