Just curious: What all would be involved with taking one of those .410 "musket" SMLE conversions and de-converting it? Would it even be worth considering?

I imagine that it would be too much work and cost to do it, when you can get one in .303 already for a couple hundred or less.

You would have to get a new barrel, new stock (its altered to fit the .410 bbl), as well as the magazine, Im not sure what exactly was done in the magazine well, I dont have it in front of me, I know there is a wood block in place.

I paid $87 for mine and it is absolutely 100% perfect! The stock is just amazing and the bore is blinding its an excellant shotgun. Get one. then get one in .303 also.
