Looking for a hunting scope...

I have been doing some research on rifle scopes and am thinking I am going to get a Nikon Monarch 3-9x40 or a Leupold VX-II 3-9x40. I found the Nikon for 200.00, and the Leupold for 300.00. Of the two which would you all get? I will be topping a Tikka T3 hunting rifle, so durability/holding zero in rough country is a big factor for me. Thanks!!!

I prefer the Leupold's, in fixed power 4 is good or go to a variable.
