I cannot believe the difference a good belt an holster makes. I just got my belt and OWB holster for my XD-40 from Fist and its incredibly comfortable. Its really novel to have a belt with enough support that the gun doesn't pull my pants down. Carrying that gun is actually comfortable now. I'm very happy.

What kind of belt were you using before?

I make holsters (and belts) and keep having to tell folks the belt is JUST AS IMPORTANT as the holster.

A perfect holster on a suck belt...well, it will still suck. :)

Just a note to all....Match your belt to your holster. If you plan to carry on a 1 1/2" belt...then get the holster with 1 1/2" slots. That goes for 1 3/4" or 2". It anchors the holster on the belt, and lets the system work together.

$7.99 belts from Wally World will NOT work as a gun belt.

A good gun deserves a good holster, and a good holster deserves a good belt.

I am glad you found something that works for you!

I had been using an ordinary belt and it was not stiff enought to provide proper support. I ordered a gun belt and holster the day after I bought my XD. I got a 1.5" belt and a holster with 1.5" slots. Its fantastic. As fpr the holster, I had the XD Gear kyvex thing that was unusable with my crappy belts and I recently got a great IWB from Crossbreed. Even the IWB was a problem, due to my crappy belts. Having "real" belt made all the difference in the world.
