Recommend a scope for 10-22?

I recently bought a 10-22 for the wife so that she can plink around at stationary clays when she gets tired of shooting the pistol at the outdoor range.
Can anyone recommend a budget scope for this endeavor? I don't imagine she'll be going past 150yds.

I have a Burris fixed 4x scope on my 10-22 that I am very happy with. It has duplex crosshairs that allow me to use the second step in the verticle hair for 100 yds when I'm zeroed at 50 yds.
Not a "budget" priced scope but reasonably priced and appropriately sized for the 10-22.

Noxx;
There are a couple of scopes out there right now that could possibly fit your needs to a T. The first one I'm thinking of would be the Sightron 3-9X S1 rimfire. I bought one & put it on a 10/22 at $125.00, or so, delivered to my door. I'm happy with it, and at that price also. But. NOW you can find 'em on sale for $79.00!! Screamin' deal.
Several places have been offering the Simmons 6.5-20X at $99.00. If target work was her major interest, this might be the way to go. But it's a pretty big scope, both in size and magnification, for just plinking.
The Nikon Prostaff rimfire 4X receives 5-star reviews at Midway & is on sale for $110.00. I have several Nikon scopes, though not that particular one, and will say that you do get outstanding glass for the money.
The problem with using a centerfire non-A/O scope on a rimfire centers around parallax error. T'were me, and it has been many times, I'd opt for either a rimfire specific scope or an A/O scope.

Thanks for the info CB, I didn't see any of those at the local turners, I think I'll do me some shopping online.
Off-topic: I had a cb900 with no third gear that I rode from CA to AR in my misspent youth, gotta love me a honda.

Muller APV (http://www.muelleroptics.com/products/MAPV451440.html) gets great reviews on RFC and is around $130.

Since 32mm scopes mount lower on the receiver, I'd go with this budget 3-9X32 Bushnell Sportsman. ;)

I picked that up for mine. Works great for chipmunks, hand adjustable windage and elevation. Big and clear view. Was much better than i expected for the money.

Went with a Simmons ProSport 4x32, probably no great shakes @$50, but should do for informal plinking around. TY for all the great leads.

Get a Tasco, either 4x32 or 3x9x32. You are only looking at $25 - $70. Great scopes for the money. Bushnells are a good value too.

I put a Simmons 1.5-5x32mm shotgun scope on mine and I love it. At 1.5x you can see the end of the bbl in the scope but I can shoot with both eyes open. At 5x it's easy to shoot out to distance or be great for 50 yard targets. The diamond reticle just seems to lock onto targets and squirrels heads. It's parallax-free at 75 yards vs. the typical 50 for rimfire scopes.
Optics are clear and it's fast.

I bought a 2-7X32 BSA Sweet 22 scope for my wife's Mossberg plinkster...What a slick scope! You zero it at 50 yards and then install the appropriate elevation turret knob for the bullet weight (36, 38 or 40 grain standard velocity loads), and you just turn the turret to the range you're shooting at, from 50-175 yards and you're golden...
Adjustable objective, too!
About $50.00 on sale at Midway. There are also a 3-9X40 and (I think) a 6-18X40...
