.30-06 - Trim to Length

I'm using an RCBS full length resizing X-Die on the .30-06 cases for a Garand. The instructions for the die say to trim the cases once after the first resizing. After looking at the numbers, I decided to trim any long cases to about 2.482". I have some cases that run shorter than this.
Is this a reasonable trim to length?
Thanks

PaulTX,
The standard trim to length is 2.484 which is .010 short from maximum length. A few thousandths won't make much difference.

Actually I think it says to trim them .010 under the trim length of 2.484......which would give you 2.474.......which is what I did when I set up my X-die. I've been loading them like that ever since and don't have a problem.
