Just order the magazine that fits your model. You will most likely not find a hi cap mag for a bolt action Marlin, but the 7 rounders are available. Try www.gunpartscorp.com

$14 sounds pretty reasonable. I paid around $25 for an extra 5 round mag for my bolt action CZ.

Hey, that's cheap! Try $35.00 for a Mossberg M44 mag!!

Or $42 plus $5 shipping for a Sako Finnfire 5-rd. mag from Beretta.

To be fair, they are exceptional mags - easy to load and reliable.

Check out Walmart. They carry magazines for most of the more common Marlin Bolt actions including the .22 Magnums. Should run about 10 bucks.

Having a spare mag is a Good Thing. I don't happen to see much point in having heaps, gobs and bunches, however. You'll do better shooting if you're not in a roaring rush to Go Bang, anyway. Stopping to reload a magazine gives you some time to think about what you're doing.

I'll second checking out Wal-Mart. They carry most Marlin mags. If you have a Gander MT or other sporting goods store, you could check them out also.
