a Century receiver?

I'm not so much interested in the rifle itself but in your impressions of the receiver and specifically its strength and ability to hold up over the long term.

Just last month I bought a CETME with the stamped Century receiver. I'm quite happy with it. These guns are a great deal for $299, which currently appears to be the going price throughout the galaxy.

Just look before you buy. Some of these are better than others, and most problems can be detected by a careful visual exam.

i've also heard that the stamped receivers can be hit and miss...we had two come in at work and one got returned (the other was almost as nice as factory)...

if you come across one of the alloy cast receivers (the ones with the intergral weaver rail...run away as fast as you can.
