the explaination seems to be somebody trying to stuff in a 600 grain bullet on top of a compressed charge of unnamed powder.

plain old 500 Linebaughs are bad enough. i know a guy with a very nice Bowen-made 500 maximum. He never does shoot the maximum level loads but sticks with fairly mild 500s. I would have to decline any offer to shoot the 500 maximum even with what passes for normal loads. Even big old Hamilton Bowen called it " Too much of a good thing" in his Custom Revolver book.

apparently nobody hurt. The details are getting more vague and fuzzy though. According to the individual who made the gun,
"this is why I get the shivering ****s wneh someone

tells me they are a knowledgable experimenter. This guy is in his late 40's and has been reloading for 20 years but never pays attention to what is listed as maximum. He blew this last summer down in Phoenix. He knew it was his fault and nobody was hurt so he chalked it up to experience. He still tells everyone it was our fault and badmouths us at every chance. "
That sounds contridictory to me but It could be that this individual is so intelligent that I have a hard time understanding him.
