The blackened 92FS'.....what's the attraction? They look the same as the 92FS, but come with those nasty gray rubber grips...is there an advantage to blackened stainless over the Brunition?

I thought "Bruniton" was just some jazzed up word for plain old weak-??? bluing. Is it actually something different?
At any rate, I think Beretta stated at some point that their stainless slides are stronger. Plus with the "cajun" you get a stainless barrel, which is always a must in my book. And if the finish wears off, the steel underneath still won't rust (unless horribly mistreated, of course).

Just more options? Or maybe because it's more tactical ?

It's tactical. Also the stainless slide according to Beretta is 30% stronger than their standard carbon steel slides.

There's some Chinese idiom for 'a piece of crap on a flower' or something like that. I don't know how to say it, but I think it's fitting for those gray grips :barf:

Maybe they would look better on a stainless gun?
