Anyone been to Gander Mountain in Aurora of Thornton recently and seen if they have any SIGs? I can't go myself so I was wondering if anyone here knows which modles they have and at what price.

Sorry don't live anywhere near there. But i'm sure you could just call them up and ask:P If they have any interest in selling guns they should be more than happy to take your questions.

I was just there last week. They had a whole slew of Sigs but I dont know the prices. I noticed they were a touch more expensive than most of the other places I have been too.

Can't speak to your specific Gander Mountain, but the ones I've been to are like any other chain. Prices are a bit higher than anywhere else, but if you wait till a sale, you can pick up a deal.

In general, Around here anyway Gander Mtn will generally match the price of most competitors.

Excuse my profound ignorance, but what the heck is Gander Mountain??
Are they something on the order of Sportsman's Warehouse or Cabbela's, both of which we have here in Arizona??

It is Gander Mtn. corporate policy to price match withing 50 miles of their store. They do it on all products, I am sure guns are included.
Here In Knox the Gander Mtn is very competitive on the price of handguns. I have bought two there as they had the best price on those that I could find.

Gander Mountain is a big box sporting goods store. Hunting, fishing, camping gear, that kind of thing. Some sell boats, ATV, ect. Along the lines of Bass Pro Shops. (or the ones you mentioned, since we don't have those around here.)
The one around here is pretty good on guns. Some are more, some are less than other places. About what I'd expect.

Gander Mtn started out in WI. They had catalog operation much like Cabelas at one. They then got in a $$ bind and sold off the catalog operation to another entity. (Guess which one? the C word) They then regrouped in early 1990's so to speak and went to the store format we have now. Some stores do not carry reloading stuff and some do is about the big thing I have noticed. Some markets are saturated with GM, SW, Cabelas, and regionally in upper midwest Scheels All Sports! But, as GM and Scheels would not deal in EBR's they too have see the light.......

The Gander Mountain by me has about 10 of them. I don't see why they wouldn't.

The Gander's in Denver seem rather pricey. Sportsman or Jensen Arms in Loveland is much cheaper

I have looked into them, they have a lot of them here in my local Gander Mountain but they are too expensive and showed a lot of holster wear. Not a good deal as is.

That does seem to vary location to location, I know both GM and Scheels in Eau Claire, WI have ARs in stock right now. EBTR's are another story:rolleyes: no real loss when it comes to Scheels Eau Claire though, that place has gone down hill in general though.
