Hello Everyone,

Has anyone used the M-14/M-1A magazines made by CMI?

It is my understanding that they are the current supplier for the U.S. Military and make Springfield's OEM magazines.

Is there any truth to this?

Are the magazines reliable? Just like Springfields? Or just a knockoff?

Thanks for the advice.

Yes, they are USGI mags and Springfield's OEM.

These are GREAT mags.

I highly recommend that you contact 44mag.com for your purchase

CMI makes the Springfield mags, so they are the same, just a different stamp on the floor plate.

CMI is the only current Military supplier that I know of, for the M14

CMI definitely makes top-quality M14 magazines. Same as Springfield mags; half the cost.

How long have you been using your CMI magazines?

Have you left them loaded over a long period of time?

Do they perform as well as the Springfield magazizes made by CMI?

CMI magazines are current issue USGI - that's as good as it gets. Cheaper mags from CDNN, CTD, Sportsmans guide etc are so unreliable it defies logic why people buy them. My CheckMate's are 100%. I shoot my M1A too much to keep them loaded for extended periods... ;) However, you will be GTG....
