Sorry to post a really stupid question but how do I tell if I have an external or internal extractor on my NEW CDP II?
TIA
Mike

Just look at the back of the ejection port.
BTW my Kimber external extractor works great.
This extractor is internal.

Yeah me to.
That's why I got four of them and my friends have another 9-10, because they work.:)

If your new CDP II has the external extractor it is not recent production but Kimber will exchange the slide, if you have extractor problems. They replaced my Custom TLE II external extractor slide, with a current production internal ejector slide, even thought it was out of warranty.
