Does anyone have any experience with this rifle and cartridge combination? If so, please relate as to accuracy and functioning.

I was shooting next to a guy with a 597 at the range a coupla weeks ago. He had a stock 597 with a 4X scope. His groups ran about 1" at 110yds. He said the trigger was heavy than what he's used to and the scope was only 4 power. He didn't have any jams with it.
