Kids made me proud today...

Our "kids" are 33, 30 and 28. Last Christmas we gave them and their spouses their CCW training as their gifts.

Today, son Jimmy (30) and his wife and daughter Sarah (28) and her husband took their training. The trainer, a friend of mine, drilled safety into them all morning during the classroom training. In the afternoon they had the range session.

After the range session, the trainer told them: "I'm amazed, there wasn't one safety violation all afternoon, you guys were all perfect!"

(Where is the puffed up chest smilie?)

Congradulations on raising your children well... they are very blessed. I think everyone else who was raised in an anti-gun family like me will envy the appreciation and respect for firearms that you have obviously passed on to your children.

Well done to you and your 'kids' Larry. Safety is a big issue for me and I can see that you and Sandy are doing a good job of teaching people the necessities of safe gun handling.
That goes not just for kids but for all the shooting visitors you've had too. We are all grateful.
Thank you Larry and Sandy and friends.

Congratulations on raising your kids well and doing your job as a parent to keep them safe.

I'm glad that my sister hasn't yet fallen victim to the anti-gun rantings of my parents. I've taught her as much as I can with a wimpy airsoft gun, and maybe someday she'll be able to properly handle a firearm.
