I was pulling guns out of the safe and the dang thing is full again. I just don't know how that happens! :)

I normally store my guns heavily lubed in zip up range bags (boyt etc) but I have got the safe so full that I don't think the golden rod is doing much good in terms of air circulation. There are areas that are just crammed full now with handguns.

So I was searching and looking at "bore stores" to pull all of the cases out and reduce the over all bulk in the safe.

Any one use these and if so have you had good luck?

I have one that a gun come in (Internet purchase) and it seems like a reasonable system.

ps: Yes I know I need to buy another safe, but she who must be obeyed might use a gun on me if I tried it right now. Maybe next year.

pps: No I will not be having another purge of the safe like last time. I am not willing to sell off any more guns right now. I have become somewhat "attached" to my herd.

Thought I would be the first so here goes. Send them to me and I'll store them. Seriously I'm at the point as you are and have been storing guns uncased due to lack of space in my safe. There was a thread with some very interesting ways to store handguns specifically with racks and such. Pouches/hangers mounted on the safe door and such. For myself currently all cases are out of the safe except for the ark of the covenants. Need and will get another safe but this is a timely thread. Maybe some of those with elaborate storage systems in their safes will post pics and suggestions.

I now use them to store all my firearms. Started about 18 months ago, and so far work well. I still check them every six months or so though. I think I got mine at Natchezss, or maybe Midway.

I store all of my handguns in Bore Stores in my safe. They are great. If you search you can find where they are made (too lazy right now). I've had a few custom bore stores made for scoped pistols etc.

And cheap!

Wipe the guns down with Eezox - bores too. Put them in bore Stores and don't worry. I have guns that have been stored in safes in my relatively low humidity basement for more than 12 years. I check them every year, They still look like they did when I put them in the safes.

The Eezox is important - it really works!
