Public Hearing Regarding California's Olympic Target Shooting Competition Exemption List.
For more information please go to the following link: http://caag.state.ca.us/firearms/regs/index.html
The California Department of Justice has given notice that they are looking for public input regarding the exemption of Olympic Target Shooting Competition style firearms. For those that live outside of California and don't know, during the assault weapon's ban and the unsafe handgun laws passed a few years ago specific firearms were banned here in California and made Olympic (bullseye) even more difficult. Another bill was passed that gave specific firearms exemption status. This list was limited and it now looks they have recognized that.
Please pass this on to your bullseye friends. If you can go to the Public Hearing, great! If not then send a written letter. For those of you who are out side of California, your letters are also welcomed to support our cause. Knowledge is power, be informed and respond.
