Can any caliber be more PC than another?

Can a caliber be PC? Can an agency issuing a 9mm face potentially less litigation than one issuing say a 357sig for example?

Dunno about pistols, but in rifles, .30-30 is defintely the most PC caliber. Old west, deer hunter, never been used in an assault weapon, not a good sniper round, etc.
Anything bigger, or bottlenecked, is a "high power sniper round".
So, maybe .38 Special is the most PC pistol round? Used (almost) in the old west, designed for black powder, almost antique, not a "magnum", not used in evil military semi-autos, etc.;)
Edited to add winkie smilie.
From a purely legal standpoint, its hard to imagine any mainstream pistol round changing a "good shoot" to a "bad shoot". But I could be wrong.

Hm, sounds like it's time for somebody to start making an AR or AK variant chambering .45-70. Or an MP5 clone that uses .45Long. (None of that "cowboy action" crap, either--bullets should move *faster* than your eyes can track. If the gun is that old, don't shoot it . If you don't score as well, then you need to practice more.)

KC, you may have a point about the political correctness of the .45-70... Think of the advertising slogan - "Custer lost with these at the Little Big Horn!"

Sure...
I mean, how do the following sound?
.22 Fluffy Bunny Petter Express
.55 Slavering Rabid Dog Butt Blaster
Everyone knows that the Rabid Dog is much more politically correct, because dogs are domesticated animals, where as rabbits aren't. :)
Quite frankly, no, I don't think any one caliber is any more PC than another... They all sling lead, and they all require the use of a lead slinger...

Would a .355 Blooming Rose be PC?

Anything that isn't overdone in movies (Desert Eagle point five-oh), or doesn't rhyme in rap music (bust out my nine, yo) is kosher ;)
IMO for the safest, stick to quaint, cattle relocation analyst rounds like the .45 Colt, .30-30.

What?
Frangibly Hollow Pointed Armor Piercing Child Mangling Nun Crushers in .22lr aren't politically correct?

I don't care for the .22; everybody knows they don't expand enough for reliable nuncrushing and childmangling from a pistol barrel. :D

.22BB or .22CB would fit the PC bill.

I am not or ever will be a Politically correct person. I tell it like it is. If you don't like it , too bad.
I believe that you can never go wrong by telling the truth. Carry whatever caliber you prefer
