Concealment: Magpouches vs BUG

It seems IWB holsters conceal better than magpouches...I'm seriously considering carrying two guns instead of a gun and a magpouch.
Your thoughts?

I thought you couldnt carry yet.
And besides, as far as I know, your smallest gun is a P7...which would most likely be your primary...So are you going to carry a full sized beretta IWB as a BUG?
Cmon skunk, get a Keltec/NAA/Autauga or something. :neener:

Sounds like you're starting to rationalize a Titanium Tomcat purchase ;) Yup, you needs one (or 2!) :neener:

I'm thinking about a fullsize BUG.
As for tuckable, the P7M8 works great so I don't need a pocket gun even for formal occassions.
I have a wedding in a few weeks. This'll be interesting.

Fullsize BUG? Like dual P7M8's? :scrutiny: Cool!

Main sidearm (semiauto), carried strong side IWB, with spare mag pouch carried "off" side OWB, PLUS J frame revolver BUG in off side pocket holster, makes the best setup for me.
Carrying two primary sidearms in left and right IWB or OWB holsters is bound to be pretty heavy, not to say downright uncomfortable!

Skunk, which is more tactical?

I tried the BUG thing for a bit. Found myself carrying an extra mag anyway. It seems that maybe a better magazine carrying method may be in order instead.

i carry a USP compact IWB strongside, and a spare mag in a clip on pouch weakside. works great, conceals with just a t-shirt and i don't have to buy two types of ammo to practice with and master two guns. i just have to master the reload. still working on that.

I rarely have re-loads - or a second gun with me. But given the current crop of major caliber handguns I have (revolver & auto), my little Beretta Jetfire is easier to carry and conceal than extra mags or speed loaders for any of them. So I guess I'd have to vote for a second (small) gun over reloads for a primary gun.

Skunk,
You shoot IDPA/IPSC right?
What's your most functional platform - two-handed or weak hand? How fast is your reload compared to your weak hand draw?
Main sidearm (semiauto), carried strong side IWB, with spare mag pouch carried "off" side OWB, PLUS J frame revolver BUG in off side pocket holster, makes the best setup for me.
I also think this is an optimum setup. I'd much rather shoot my primary, so I carry a reload for it. I carry a BUG in case I lose or have a catastophic failure of my #1.
Also, it's sometimes handy to actually have a gun in your hand that can be fired effectively thru a pocket. My Jframe gets shot weak-handed about 95% of the time. I've popped off a coupla 2 handed just to see how it would group :) .

There's no law against carrying a backup gun(s) and a spare mag, ya know. ;)
