Gun control is never DONE. For the SPP to be fully implemented the 2nd amendment has to be eliminated.
The vast majority of Americans are opposed to amnesty, however the PTB will do it anyway. the same with Gun Control.
The UN wants us disarmed. Plans are proceeding.

I understand, however I thought that HR 1022 was stalled in committee.

i didn't know i was a citizen of the 'un'....
i dont remember when the un was supposed to have any jurisdiction of me... I'm a citizen of these united states, and nowhere in the Constitution does it say we are inherently subject to world government.

Call me crazy, but I think letters/emails/calls to the people responsible will do much more good than an online petition. I've never seen or heard of any politicians who actually care about this sort of thing.
Not trying to down the effort...just suggesting that everyone here who signs the petition also take the time to email/call/write/fax the people involved as well.

is this petition a good way to get a list of all of the people who oppose hr1022 and dont turn in their guns when something like this does pass?:uhoh: not that I have any guns, but if I didnt sell them all at a gun show to private parties years ago I might be a little worried about voluntarily putting my name on a list.

The best way to defeat HR1022 is to ignore it. I wouldnt worry about this until after 08. The 2009 session is where we should be worried.
