I almost have everything installed in the new carrier. However there is one pin that is being a royal PITA. If anyone has any tricks for it's removal it would be much appreciated.

PITA pin, gravity is your friend and taping the carrier on a bench top helps.
If you can move the latch it should come out, make sure to remove the spring and clean it good with solvent to remove any oil varnish that can make these sticky.
If your local bring it in and i get it if you can't.
