Wow......am I glad I spent the money.
As you get older you may have great skills, but......
As your eyes get older, your sight picture gets less precise.
Except with a laser.
How nice to be able to put everything into one ragged hole in the target again.
I was thinking I was turning into a pretty mediocre shot.
I WILL be getting a couple more CTCs.

Yeah they are great.
My 69 year old eyes aren't what they use to be.
I practice 2-5 evenings a week with Crimson Trace Laser Grip and Streamlight TLR-2 laser/light equipped guns.
One thing that is cool is the laser makes possible fast accurate shots that I couldn't begin to make without it.

How do you calibrate the laser to shoot straight?

How do you calibrate the laser to shoot straight?
There are wind age and elevation adjustments like a scope or Red Dot sight but when adjusting a laser you move the laser dot to the bullet hole.
You decide at what distance you want the laser sighted in.
Closer or further away from the sighted in distance the laser and bullet strike will be separated slightly, but for practical purposes the inch or two separation isn't important.
For instance I like to sight in my lasers about 20-25 yards as this Kimber Tactical Ultra is, so the gun/laser is good for close up and back to 40-50 yards.
At 40-50 yards the bullet strike is about two inches low and close up at ten yards the bullet strike is about an inch high when the laser dot is kept centered.

Right now I have my 686 dead on at 15 yards and I'm amazed at what I can do with the laser in terms of accuracy. I can fairly often put six into one ragged hole, where before I'd end up with a four, five or even six inch group.
It seems I still have the skills, just not the eyes.
I have never hunted deer with the handgun and I'm thinking that this laser would enable me to do it now. I considered it in recent years for the first time, but don't trust my eyes with iron sights anymore for the sake of the deer (I would probably do ok but I wouldn't be comfortable with it, especially in low light conditions).
And since I detest scopes on handguns......I had given up on the idea.
But now.....with the laser, I see possibilities.
Anybody have any laser/deer experience?

I like that picture you took there Mr.Armoredman. I am in the 60+ bunch and them C/T's are real nice that I had on my SP-101.

No, no night sights, just the luninescent painted ones that came with the PO1. Great pistola.
You can get the PO1 with CT grips from the factory, now, The new ones even have the CZUB logo.
