Finally finished! (pics)

I finally finished my custom Springfield Armory GI project. I've been working on this project for over a year, and it came back from the Custom Shop at Springfield today. I changed the internals, added the beavertail, slide stop, safety, MSH and grips. Springfield did everything else. What do you think?

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. This was a labor of love and learning. I spent way more than I would have if I had just bought it like this, but now I know this gun inside and out, and it is ALL mine. Here's what I put on it:

Cylinder & Slide internals (hammer, sear, disconnector, sear spring)
EGW bushing (SA fitted it for me)
Wilson Combat thumb safety and bullet proof slide stop
Smith & Alexander beavertail grip safety
Ed Brown MSH (Wilson 19# mainspring)
Davidson grips

That's a nice lookin' 1911. (How's it shoot, though? :P) The upper/lower contrast is quite appealing.

I wish more 1911s would come from the factory without those hideous front slide serrations.

What's the finish for the frame and slide? I assume it's polymer.
