I like it alot.:D
Right out of the box. I fired 24 rds through it. One failure to fire. I cleaned it up and fired the remaining box of ammo. 71gr Winchester USA FMJ
No more failures I may try the F&B that other Kel-Tec owners recommend. Great little handgun. And just think, I almost bought the NAA MINI.:uhoh:

WKW, How many rounds have you put through yours? And What Hollow Points does yours like?

You bought a Kel-Tec? I tried to warn you. When it breaks or stops working, you will be a real Kel-Tec owner. Your not really part of the KT club unless you have sent your back to the factory at least once and fixed some part on your own.

You might as well put it through its paces. Fire 400 rounds as soon as you can, if it still works, you might be O.K. 400 rounds is sort of the limit for the P-32, they tend to need help by then.

I was also warned about the Makarov.:p

Yeah, bad P-32s happen, but they aren't all bad. Mine has well over 400 rounds through it. Maybe twice that many? No trips to the factory, no fix-its by me. Just keeps shooting.

yeah, well *I* just picked up a Bersa Thunder .380 tonight. :D Been lookin at them lately, looked at them again tonight, and said to myself "what the heck" then to the sales guy "i'll take it." Brought it home with me tonight...too late to shoot though, i'll try it after work tomorrow.

Bersa .380 is cool! I want one also, I saw one with deep blue finish and gold trim. Nice! No really, I liked it even with the gold on it. I'm not big on blow backs or on the .380 round but for the Bersa, I would make an exception. The gold would have to go if I ever wanted to shoot it in public though.:D

Please, don't anybody use those lame barf smilies. I hate those!

makdaddy03,
I said NOT to use those barf smilies! What are you trying to do to me?

As long as you don't use the Evil smilies, I think I will be O.K. I really, really hate those darn Evil Smilies.

yeah, i should've waited...gotten more money, and gotten some flavor of 9mm. Well, that's what you get for being impatient....and at least I didn't give in and get the Hi-Point!

now i just gotta find a cheap source of .380 ammo. ditto for you and .32. ;)

on the 1 failure to fire, was it fast fire??

I ask because unfortunately there are 2 "clicks" that the trigger must go forward. The first as it goes past the hammer block (wich kinda keeps it at "half cock") and the second is the trigger bar resetting on the hammer (the actual trigger reset). My point is, if you only allow the trigger to go forward enough to engage the first "click" then all you are doing is letting the hammer fall from the hammer block. This will sometimes fire a round, but more often causes a light strike (duh, the hammer was not pulled back all the way). So most of the time allowing the trigger to go all the way forward and fully reset will take care of this.

I got mine used, and have put an additional 200 or so rounds through. It didn't look used or worn at all when I got it though.

Haven't tried any hollowpoints though. I do the lazy way, a Corbon in the chamber and S&B FMJs in the magazine.

June 27, 2003, 02:49 PM
We are still talking about the Kel-Tec right?

NO Bersa or Llamas allowed.:D

The one misfire was a light strike. Like I said I starting shooting it right out of the box. "Bone Dry". Cleaned and oiled it, With no other problems. Thanks for all of the info.

I love my P32. So far, I've put 150 rounds through it, and the only problems I've had was with American Ammo. I had 7 or 8 FTF's out of 50 rounds. I haven't had a problem with WWB though. I've only fired 2 Hydra-Shoks through it so far, with no problems, but that's only 2 rounds so not really enough to make a judgement call.

Frank

PS I've yet to do a F&B on mine either.

That American Ammo is JUNK! I bought 2 boxes of the stuff for my P-32 and every 3-4 rounds, I would have a FTE due to a light load. That ammo is really inconsistance, I don't think they even measure out the powder when they are loading it, I think they just have a huge tray of upturned empty cases and some woman floats above it suspended on wires sprinkling gun power over them like a Pixie.:D

yeah, corbon works good in mine...

why corbons?? (only ones to consistantly expand out of a P-32)

not trying to hijack it again...but i'm quite liking my Bersa. It ain't no fancy schmancy, light as a feather, P-32...(or P-3AT), but it'll do.

I think the Bersa is one of the best .380s out there at any price. Do you have the alloy frame or the steel frame?
