... I like them, the asking price was right, it was made before the downfall of the company, and they aren't very common. :D

These 36-6s in .38 Special were one of S&W's guns-of-the-week back in the late 80s... They made a lot of limited run guns then.
According to Wiley Clapp in my 1990 Guns & Ammo Handguns Annual 3,200 of these were made. These came along before the 3" full lug 60s appeared. The ones I have are accurate and a pleasure to shoot with .38 LSWC loads.
