are Heritage .22 revolvers frames the size of an SAA, or more like a SAFS?

About like a Single Six, except lighter

It is close to a Single Six, maybe just a little bit smaller.

What is a SAFS?

SAFS Colt Single Action Frontier Six

It was introduced in 1873 in 44 WCF (44-40).

Unless the origional poster is confusing this with the .22 single action Colt that they made after resuming production of SAA.
