Is it a No. 3 or are those only SA? Seemed to be .32 S&W. I looked over it some days ago and it’s mechanically and cosmetically perfect.
How much is a gun like this worth? Can you load some 1/2 way descent reloads ( what kind of power can you expect from a 32 S&W round)?
Thanks guys.

The illustrated revolver looks like a .32 Double Action fourth model. 1883-1909, over 200,000 made.
The Armchair Gun Show has one for $300 and it even has pearl handles. Second gun down at http://www.armchairgunshow.com/otsDTD_lemonsqueezers.htm
.32 S&W ammo is not now loaded any hotter than it ever was since going to smokeless. I would just buy a box for very occasional demonstration, an advanced collector told me that these were S&W's answer to the Colt Lightning; an early DA design with fragile parts. I have a friend with the similar .38 in parts, the long flexible cylinder stop broken and irreplaceable. No point in tooling up to handload unless you wanted to shoot black powder and take your chances on wearing it out.

It's a .32 DA, however it looks like the hammer pivot screw/bushing is a non-factory replacement. It's way too big.

Speaking of the pivot screw/bushing, it may be just the lighting or a scratch, but something look strange about the shape of the sideplate.
Exactly what is imprinted on the top of the barrel?

I took a closer look, after Dean's comment. I'm inclined to say this is not a Smith & Wesson. The grip logo is unclear, but it does not appear to be a S&W logo in the picture. As Dean asked - What exactly does the top of the barrel say?
