I'd like to put a .233 AK together but all I have to build on is an AMD-65 kit.

I saw some .223 barrels on K-Var from Arsenal for about 100$ which I thought would make for a quality build. I thought id have someone who knew what they were doing put the .223 barrel on the AMD-65 kit and Get a .223 bolt head and call it a day.

Is any of this possible?

Good luck with the mags for it. Don't make the mag well like the Norinco!
Every mag other than Norinco is .01" too wide to fit.
