Just introducing myself...
I am new here, native Houstonian, been around guns all my life, but never been taught more then to do more then point and shoot.
A new friend turned me on to this sight and said it is a good place to educate myself.

Good day, eh. Please don't be in the least bit concerned about asking about anything you have questions about. There's no such thing as a stupid question and there are lots of people just reading these forums, so your question may answer theirs. Eh. Yes, I'm in Canada and please feel free to join us at http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/ if you feel like it. You're as welcome there as you are here.

Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcome!!!!
I am looking forward to learning as much as possible.
To the Canadian.... I visit the Soo at least once a year and have an extended family there. I miss the northern wind and 12 foot snow banks.

Kat, congrats and best wishes on the success of your school.

Good to see fellow hapkido enthusiasts on the board. There are more than a few of us around.:)

Regarding, kong shin bup, as I was told many years ago, "steal whatever works and call it hapkido." See also, "in mantis boxing if a tactic works, we will use it.":D

Welcome to THR, Kat!

Congrats on the anniversary of your business. The first year is always the hardest.

I'm sure pax, runt_of_the_litter, Tamara, WAGCEVP, and many others of their persuasion welcome you with open arms. Lord knows they need as much help as they can get to keep the flood of testo.... Oh, nevermind. ;)

Please pull up a chair (or sit on the floor if you wish) and join in the discussions.
