This is my first HK gun.

Well kind of, it is a Fabarm. Hey at least it has HK name printed on the side. It is HK FP6. I have not shot it yet, but so far I like it. I use to have Mossberg 590 and FP6 is a superior shotgun from the fit and finish and design point of view.

Positive:

1)Exceptionally good fit and finish
2)Very light compare to comparable shotty like mossbergh 590 or Remington 870. I would guess at least 30% lighter
3)Very nice trigger. It is amazing. Very cripse and clean break
4)Over side safety
5)Very handsome
6)Long forend for attachments (actually has a place to mount picanny rail build in on the forend)
7)very ergonomic.

Negative:

1)Very hard to find parts and accessories

It is just a well design and well thought out pump shotty in my opinions. I will post range report, when I get to shoot her. Might be a while yet.

Thats very nice, I looked at one a couple years ago but could find absolutley zero information on it from users. I wouldnt worry about parts as i've never had to replace anything on a shotgun before. One thing I was worried about though was recoil. Good luck, I look forward to a full range report.

nice fp6 you got there, i thought about buying that one but i bought this one instead :)
i wasn't sure how good the finish is on the carbon fiber so i just went with the parkerized finish. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=273452&highlight=fabarm

Not quite Shipwreck. I trade my G19 for it. The guy gave $80 on top of the shotty.

Not too bad of a deal.
