Has anybody ever tried these? I found a discussion of them on The Defense Review web site, followed the link to the company's site.

Looks kind of interesting.

lots of great positive feedback on these sights on XDTalk.com I am thinking of picking up a set for my XD9 as well...

i would think that pointy front sight would hang on stuff.

pretty cool, I like the xs big dot sight on my brother's hi-power, it is easy to quickly align it, these seem a little better in that reguard. Just noticed they are sold out across the board, guess that means they must be good:D

many people have put this through everyday carry, classes and field tests and consensus = front sight does not snag. the design is actually neat and virtually snag-free. again, this is not through my personal first-hand experience, but rather what I have gathered through talking w/ people who have this sight system.

Two comments on this... Last I looked (I did a quick check just now and didn't see anything to the contrary) they didn't have anything for night use.

Secondly, the sight seems to be very much the same as the Styer 9mm pistol. I had a Styer and personally (YMMV) didn't like them. Didn't seem to be anywhere near as accurate.

seems cool! a nice alternative to a laser or red dot for night/lowlight use.

IIRC Gomez was trying them out... IIRC he wasn't impressed... I can't say I was ether.

Ask him... he's around here at least some of the time...

That's the first thing I thought when I saw the sight. I didn't care for them, either. I tended to have accuracy problems due to my inability to align the top of the front sight with the rear sight. Without proper sight picture the size of my shot grouping probably tripled over what I shoot with a convential 3-dot sight.

For me personally, handguns are point and shoot. I don't see an advantage to these sights except for bullseye shooting maybe.

I think these would slow you down actually.

This is one of those things that looks good, but I seriously doubt that there is an appreciable gain in accuracy with them. I am sure they work just fine, but aligning a triangle doesn't seem like it would be any easier than aligning normal sights. Also, having shot the Steyr sights, I don't like them either. They are unique, but I just really didn't like them.

I have a set on my XD-SC...they work great. I will warn that there is definitely a learning curve, and that you (or at least, I) can't expect to switch back and forth from 3-dot to Suresights and expect to be really good at both.

I like them. Wish they had tritium inserts, though.

I just wish they made them to fit more guns. I don't own any of the guns they make them for.

I think the difference from these and the Steyr is.. With the Steyr you put the front triangle inside the rear half triangle; with the other ones you simply finish the triangle picture by placing the front on top of the rear. I could be wrong though I have never fired a Steyr I’m just going of pictures and how it seems like they would work

I sent them an email to see when they would have more sets for other pistols.

They look like they might would give you a faster sight picture, but be less precise without very careful aiming. Just my conclusion from looking at them. I've not tried them.

Sure Sight has their own section on XDTalk: http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=46

The owner is on there often to update production time and such. There is some feedback from current users also.

There are having some manufacturing issues. The perorders (from may and June) were to ship on 7/1 and they just updated everyone that it will be another 6-8 weeks.

Blimey, they look huge. I guess they're not much bigger than standard sights, but they look like a carry handle in a couple of the pictures.

Is it just me, or is $89 for a set of fixed sights a little on the steep side?

Here is my take:

IPSC and other competitive shooters are always looking for the best way to shoot accurate fast shots. I don't know of any (good) competition shooters using them.

You may get 50 posts on an internet forum from people who've tried them and liked them, but thats all subjective. Unless they can pass muster with people who shoot for a living, they are just a gimick.

Kind of like the 1st gen P-32? The shape of the top of the slide make a triangle?
