Wondered what to do with that Sharps rifle ever since you bought it? Well, wonder no more! Here at Sharp-Tac, we have just the answer! We'll take your Sharps and convert it into a lean, mean, tactical machine! Take a look at our options below:

1.) CQB Sharps Carbine: John Brown's body might be a-moldering in the grave, but if he'd of had our Sharps' CQB, the outcome of Harper's Ferry might have been different! That's right, we're taking this old Beecher's Bible and turning it into a DVD! Bleeding Kansas? If they'd of had this, it'd of been "Massive Sucking Chest Wound Kansas"!! We take a Sharp's carbine. We add a genuine issue M-16A2 buttstock, pistol grip, and handguards. Trijicon, you say? You can get that. Or, we install ACOG and you have options from lasers to night vision. We parkerize the metal. Then we install a SideSaddle specially made for us to hold .45/70 rounds on the side. A heat shield goes over the barrel, which is shortended to 16". Our basic model has ghost rings. This ain't your great-great-grandaddy's Sharp's!

2.) M1873-203: We take the Sharp's CQB and install a 40mm grenade launcher under the barrel. Buffalo rifle?! This'll be a wooly mammoth rifle if they ever successfully clone them from the one they found in Siberia!

3.) Sharp's Sniper: We add a synthetic sniper stock. A Harris bipod. Adjustable trigger. We offer a choice of scopes to include night vision.

4.) Sharp's Scout: Same as the sniper, except we mount a pistol scope over the barrel and raise the price another $600. Don't ask why.

5.) Sharp's Commando: We take the CQB, shorten the barrel to 14" and add an M-16 collapsable stock.

And to go with your Sharp-Tac rifles, we offer the full line of Sharp-Tac Tactical .45/70 ammo. We have special purpose loads from long-range sniper, to rubber "less lethal", to frangible.

Don't own a Sharp's? Don't despair! We offer these conversions on Ruger No. 1s, Remington Rolling Blocks, and ask about our special "Double-Rifle Special"---the World's First Tactical Double Rifle! Penetration, you say? Does 700 Nitro Express stand up and say hello to ya?

Can I take the left over pieces home and build my rifle again?

Whaddya mean build your rifle again! Once we stamp "Tactical" on the barrel, why, that'll make it 100 times more accurate and 100 times superior to anything that doesn't have "tactical" stamped on the barrel! I bet you didn't realize the power in a set of metal stamps, did you? It's like magic, except tactical. Tactical magic. You know, black cordura medicine bags, carbon-fiber wands, stealth brooms, bayonet athames, and black rip-stop poplin robes.

Lissen, why stop at the Sharps? Don't forget there's a huge market for tactical clothing, tactical footwear, tactical accessories, and all those other tactical bits and pieces. A few suggestions:

1. Tactical buckskin jacket, fringed with strings of carbon-fiber instead of boring old deer hide;

2. Tactical powder horn for reloading those big ol' Sharps shells. The "tactical" element of a powder horn is that the pouring spout on the end doubles as a police whistle when blown sharply;

3. Tactical moccasins - they incorporate a rattlesnake's "rattle" on each toe, so that your enemy is frightened to death as you advance on him;

4. Tactical Davy Crockett coonskin cap - the tactical element is that the coonskin tail detaches and unravels to become a Boresnake for that tactical Sharps.

I'm sure fertile imaginations at THR can come up with a few more ideas along these lines...

-Matte black tomahawks with carbon firber handles and ergonomic rubber grips
-assualt-style Gatling guns (man-portable, on tripods instead of 2 wheel carrige)
-instead of an underslung grenade launcher for your SharpTac (god, it even sounds like something that would sell!) might be a short barrel side-by-side shotgun
-Don't forget your Colt SAA with tritium sights, after-market grips, and Weaver rail

Preach, that tactical clothing was tested around here long ago. It didn't work then either (well, it did "work" by attracting a lot of lead from the Indiana militia).:D

However, that was before we had gun rags to tell us how great "tactical" stuff is.:rolleyes:

"A _________ and his _________ soon are parted."

Geez! P.T. Barnum really was right; he just got the interval wrong. Must be one born every second.

Either that, or the Society for Creative Anacronism has some members that're huffing paint stripper.

Where're the depleted uranium 45-70s for AP on covered wagons?

John Brown's tactical Sharps carbine would have a Skunkabilly black stock and foreend. It may have flip up nickel sights for low light firefights (especially in barns surrounded by Federal troops led by Col. Lee). He would have a tactical Skunkabilly leather pouch mountd on the stock for extra linen cartridges (the Sharps used a nitrate soaked linen cartridge). For the crew served Sharps carbine, a Colt Dragoon may be slung beneath the barrel - so long as it doesn't get in the way of the bayonet lug (normally found on the rifle version).

LOL! In August, we'll be releasing the SubSharps. Think Carbon-15, except with an attitude! Single AR pistol grip, no buttstock, 10" barrel, and we really pulled out the stops and made this one a .50-90!

Do y'all make Beta C-Mags for Rolling Blocks, too? :scrutiny:

well, here's the SPETSNAZ Special Berdan No.2 rifle:

a built-in recoil-reducing system allowing to fire 2 shots before recoil will take effect on the shooter (included: additional recoil-absorbing shooter and a cartridge carrier/loader)

a side-mounted knife-bayonet, that doubles as a wire-cutter, bottle opener and door block, and also does not interfere with underbarrel grenade launcher (based on S&W No.3 Russian rebored and rebarreled to 12 gauge magnums)

a spetsnaz bipod with third leg and fifth wheel

a spetsnaz portable bullet shield (apparently stolen from 5" naval gun)

and, finally, universal 80proof cleaner-lubricant V.O.D.K.A. in steel flasks, hidden in the buttstock of the rifle. the greatest way to clear enemies from your sight.
