Young lady, about so high, had a Birthday.

She received what she wanted for her "tool birthday" ; including a cordless drill.
Now of course one needs accessories to compliment a cordless drill, and she also received one of the most useful:
Cleaning Rod.
:D

With Joe Cocker playing on the radio we hear:

"Oh yeah baby, check this puppy out cleaning shotgun chambers, bores and who else has a smoothbore handy in need of attention?" -Birthday Brat.
Cake and ice cream can wait, we just happen to have another dirty shotgun chamber and bore. ;)

This young lady is just "inclined".
Granted she has a mind of her own, still she is gifted , including being mechanically inclined.
She started taking things apart as a toddler, gets bigger and figures out how to put them back together, which is a relief to her mom.

She saw Me using a cordless drill, with wisps of 0000 steel wool cleaning a shotgun chamber when she was small; and her eyes got big, her mouth did that "bite" it does and "I wanna do that".
Little hands inside mine and she assisted in cleaning a shotgun chamber, then the bore.

Little twerp was always "appearing" from nowhere when tools were used, and cordless drills and shotgun barrels were added to her "tools in the toolbox".

Scotchbrite pads, the finest grit, is what we have gone to for cleaning chambers and barrels.
Simple reason is "We keep telling them to clean all the steel wool out, but folks won't listen, because steel will rust.
So since folks won't pay attention , Scotchbrite is safer". Birthday Brat.

Funny how mom "just happened" to have a project lined up and again "honey, I need some help, and it will require a cordless drill".

"Oh, I better re-charge it".

Grandpa's gift was another charge pack . :D

"Yeah Grandpa! "

How raised - what you do.

Great. Good story. It's good to hear about kids, both boys and girls that have an interest in guns and tools. I hope one day that my daughters will ask for tools and gun cleaning equipment. I can supervise projects and they can clean my guns for me ;)

How old is your little niece?
