I took the new smokepole to the range today with Dad and brother
we bought a SKS (private sale) and the previous owner had put an aftermarket magazine on it, which resulted it jams at the range (misfeeds)

but Ill be getting the original mag assembly from the last owner this week so all will be well
and my new wood stock is on the way
good news is that the hapless clays stood no chance at 55 yards
i was hoping to get some trigger time at a longer range but we ran out of time
just for fun I took out my Makarov and almost hit a clay twice from 55 yards
im still wondering how i got that close :)

I stuck with the 10rd fixed mag and never looked back.

Does it have the bayonet? You can always use that if you run out of ammo. Just charge the clays if you run out of ammo.:D

How fast can you do a 55yd dash?
