I have one for my CZ 452 FS, and it's great. It comes w/ a 12 gauge cleaning head, anyone use one of these for their shotgun(s)? If I don't have to, I'd rather not have to buy another cleaning kit.

You can. A little more work but possible. However, shotgun cleaning kits are not expensive and a brass brush speeds things up.

I like boresnakes for cleaning shotguns.

Boresnakes work well.
Also, if I'm at the range, I will just run a RemOil Wipe (like a handi-wipe for a gun, I get 'em by the box at WalMart and carry them in my shooting bag) down the barrel a few times with the wooden dowel that we use to clear squibs.
I occasionally clean the gun more seriously, but a RemOil Wipe around the outside of the gun, on the receiver face and down the barrel, keep me from having to do a 'real' cleaning very often. I shoot trap with a Browning, and they're known for chamber rust. Not a problem, since I clean and oil the chamber with the wipes before I put the gun in the case again.
Are Boresnakes sufficient for the lifetime of the shotgun? I know sometimes people do a faster cleaning and then a more intensive scrubbing/cleaning once or twice a year, so I'm just wondering if a Boresnake, used after every outing (about 100 shells) would be okay for the life of the shotgun. I'm going to be getting a gas-operated semi-auto, if that makes any difference.

Well thanks for the useless response... I say "useless" because as I've stated above, I intend to clean my own gun.
