I shot my 1851 Navy yesterday for the first time and it shoots to the left about 4" at 25 yards. Well that's funny I bought a new 1858 and it shot the same way,4" to the left. Someone talked about this just a couple of days ago, maybe its me and not the guns! I'm new to this revolver shooting anyway, made sure I was using just the tip of my trigger finger, that didn't help. I was shooting from a rest,so I took my index finger on my left hand and placed it on the side of the frame under the cylinder, problem solved, worked great.I was disappointed in my 1858,that made me feel a lot better.
