Hello everyone,

I'm revamping my hunting rifle inventory by getting a TC encore and barrels. I'm not fond of the standard hunting sights, the ones where you're suppose to put the fore-end 'ball' over the target.

I like the sights on the M1 and AR-15. I need recommendations for these types of sights for the TC.

Thanks,
Bit.

I love peeps.
Practice with them.
I prefer them over any open site.
My 2 cents.

XS sights are a good option.

Williams makes some, too.

The Williams sights will be easier to adjust precisely but the XS sights will take much more abuse and still work. XS sights also sells sets with a square post front sight so you can avoid the ball. Williams may offer a square post front also. Probably Marbles does, too.

There are probably others out there if you want to look. Brownell's usually has a good selection.

I use the XS sights on two rifles (a 336 and a 39A) and like them a lot. I wish the front sight was a little more narrow, but they work fine.

That's what files and cold blue are for.
