Questions:

Anyone know much about this 9MM Revolver?
How does it fire?
Is it Typical Taurus Revolver, or is it smooth?

Thanks!

I have one in stainless. I bought it used for $225.00. Bargain of the year. I carry it when I'm "not carrying". It slips into a jeans or shorts pocket, and just kind of disappears. It also fits the center console of my Focus and just about nothing else will fit in there.

I find the trigger smooth and not difficult to control. I can shoot it pretty well, but not as well as my normal carry gun, a Glock 19. It is "snappy" on the recoil. I have fired over 1000 rounds in a 3 day period from my Glock with no ill effects. About 30 rounds is all I care to put through the 905. It hurts. But as a back up carry weapon I am confident that I can take care of business out to about 15 yards or so.

I've heard complaints about the quality of the moon clips, but there are sources for better ones out there.

Listed for the 940 Smith and Ruger. I believe these would work in the Taurus, but not sure.

The gun is nice. The clips are not thick enough to hold the rounds steddy. I don't think they are any faster than a speedloader. If they were thicker I think they may hold the ammo steddy and you could just drop your reload in. I found that if you put the longer Combat Grips on, the recoil dosen't hurt your hand. My triger is very smooth. I have had very good actions on all my Taurus Revolvers.

Listed for the 940 Smith and Ruger. I believe these would work in the Taurus, but not sure.

I ordered these from Midway, and while they fit the pattern of the cylinder, they are too thick to allow the crane to close. Had to return them. I ordered 10 from Taurus. In spite of the fact that they don't hold the rounds rock steady, I still find that I can just drop them in quite quickly. If you are looking to carry a spare moon clip loaded, I think they are a bit delicate. A loaded moon clip would probably not retain the rounds unless they were very carfully stowed.

I still like the gun. When I carry it, I am carrying it in a minimal configuration, and I don't carry spare moon clips.

If you put a thin Skrewdriver in the slots between the bullets and give a little twist it snugs up the rounds and makes them hang in place so they don't fall out. I have put them in Speedloader Cases but most of the time just drop them in a pocket.
