Title says it all. Anyone know what the lowest QD ring is for the Aimpoint CompM2?
Thanks,

Try the LaRue low-RIS mount, it is about as low as you can go.

Thanks for the input. I'm now wondering if I need to go QD at all, actually. The sight will cowitness with irons if mounted directly to the rail. I can shoot through it if the batts die.

The Aimpoint rings, numbers 10818 and 10819 will put the objective lens cap right down on the rail. They're as low as possible while maintinaing the ability to use a lens cap. They're not technically "QD" but they have a "thumb knob" with a coin slot. I find that using a house key with a flat side on its "handle" gives you more torque, and eliminates any loosening issue.
The difference between the two models is only in the width of the rectangular cross bolt. The 10818 fits Picatinny rails only and the 10819 fits Picatinny and most Weaver.

I had an Aimpoint Rail Grabber for my Comp M-XD.
I ditched it ... for the same reason. Using the stock 30mm ring on an Ultimak it would perfectly co-witness with the iron sights on my Maadi ARM.
That and the scope kept "rotating" in the Rail Grabber under recoil, no matter how much I tightened it down. $75 for a scope mount and it doesn't even work.
