I need some help deciding on a shotgun for IDPA. Can I have some idea's on what to get and why?

Ummm...........I thought IDPA was only for pistols (International Defensive Pistol Association).

There are a very few clubs that run rifle and shotgun side matches in conjunction with IDPA pistol shoots. But that is not an official function, and is not common. If there is one in your area, go see what is being shot and do likewise.

It is a multi-gun shoot. Someone is trying to sell me a Mossberg 590 with a speed feed stock. Someone else told me a Remington 890 would be good. He was 250 for the Mossberg. Any other gun similiar, I can't afford to much right now.

You can have fun with a pump, but the winners shoot autos. Which cost more.
