Efforts to repeal Shall-Issue laws

With all the hoopla about the new law in Minnesota, I've had to wonder about other states. Did y'all go through the same thing when Shall-Issue became law in *your* state? I can't believe the tears, lies and slanted "news" reports since the law passed. Now, maybe Minnesota really *is* more liberal than the other 34 states, but...

Please, those of you that have experienced this, tell me we're not seeing anything different from what happened elsewhere. We've got petitions going around calling for the repeal of the law. Churches have filed lawsuits to protest the signage. Sheriffs are (well, one is) issuing permits "Under Protest". I'm disgusted at the behavior of my fellow citizens. Did this happen everywhere (except Vermont, of course)?

There was some rattling about it in Virginia, but it never got anywhere as the Democrats were more worried about keeping their majorities in the state House & Senate.

Didn't do them any good, as they're minorities in both houses now. :)

Yes, it is. :)
All that anti-gun angst is simply an expression of your fellow citizens beliefs that you do not have the right to carry a gun around them.
Fight them hard if it becomes an issue.

The grabbers have about a one-year window to operate. If they haven't killed the bill by then, they're toast.

Here's why:

Check out the three "one year after" news reports from Michigan: "gee wiz, there's all these armed gunnies running around loose, so where's all the blood in the streets the grabbers promised?"

They KNOW those reports are coming. They have to kill the bill before they hit.

Minnesota's leftist extremists are doing an energetic job of snivelling and whining, and of course, the Red Star Tribune is glad to print irrational fears as headline news.

The leftist extremists in Denver are taking the state of Colorado to court in a (probably vain) effort to reestablish their right to prevent commoners from defending their lives and property.

It's my understanding that not a single state's shall issue law has ever been repealed.

Damn Standing Wolf, now why did you have to go and say that?

The more I hear about this, I wonder how the law ever got passed in the first place? Did y'all sneak it in when the crybabies weren't looking?
