I purchased a Glock 19 secondhand from a friend last October. Still works perfectly, but I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on their warranty and what not.

Someone else might correct me on this, but I believe Glock only provides a warranty to the original owner.

If you don't mind my asking, selling my new G19 a few years back was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I'm thinking about buying another one used. How much did you pay for yours?

The thing was lightly used, night sites, extended mag release, lighter trigger, 2 holsters, etc $400. I hope it's not for the original owner, but such would be life.

I assure you I'm not trying to be a wisen-heimer, but why don't you just call them and ask:

GLOCK, Inc.
6000 Highlands Parkway
Smyrna, GA 30082
U.S.A.
Tel.: 1-770-432-1202

Again, no offense intended. :)

Enjoy the G19. It's a great gun!

Although it is not in writing, Glock will cover the gun even if you are the 10th owner.

I have a Glock 21, that was acquired in a trade, that has a dead vial on the factory night sights. Called up Glock and explained the situation to them and they said send it in and they'll replace it.

Glock has one of the best customer service/warranty departments around, so buy that used Glock with comfort.

Glock parts are cheap. If anything broke on mine I would just order it and replace it myself. About the only thing I've heard that breaks is the guide rod. Enjoy the 19 though, I love mine.

But why pay for it when you can get it free with a phone call. I just called Glock yesterday about a 4256-1 trigger bar for my 21 ( mine has the 4256 in it). They said no "problem we will also send a new firing pin block plunger, need anything else" Sure how about a new striker spring and trigger return spring, it is being mailed to me today. So I am happy with their service.
