With my birthday coming up this week my girlfriend decided to once again remind me that she's awesome, and buy me a custom holster...as she put it.."A gun holder thingy".

I've narrowed it down to two choices.

Milt Sparks Axiom

or the QRH from Bulman Gunleather.

I like the snaps on both for quick on/quick off. Anyone used either or both? I'll be using them on my SA 1911 Loaded series. SS finish. From the looks of them they both ride similarly, both the angle and the height.

Wait time isn't a huge deal..although the sooner the better.

So, any suggestions?

I don't know anything about bulman, but I just ordered my first custom holster with Milt Sparks. In my research, I found them to be a reputable company producing a quality product. In the end, that is what sold me. Everyone seems to love their Milt Sparks holsters. I really didn't want to wait as long as I am (22-26 weeks) for a holster, but from what I hear, it is well worth the wait. I found the staff to be very nice to work with, and accomodated a request to make a change in my order with no problems.

No wrong decisions here but just the same I'm thinking that Axiom is lookin' mighty fine, though I suspect the Bulman might be easier to get on and off. Axiom.
