I'm getting "The Art of the Rifle" from Paladin Press. What else do they have that might be good?

Something concerning marksmanship and maintenance would be nice.

I'm also interested in unarmed self defense techniques.

My fiancee is getting me a copy of To Ride, Shoot Straight, And Speak The Truth By Col. Jeff Cooper for my birthday in a couple weeks. I don't know much about Mr. Cooper, but to be called the father of modern pistolcraft can't be a bad thing.

I've personally bought myself a few lately, including The Gun Digest Book of the 1911 (Vol.'s 1 & 2) and am currently sharing a copy of The Truth About Self Protection By Massad Ayoob.

Good stuff, and definetly enough to keep me busy for quite awhile!

Surgical Speed Shooting by Andy Stanford is a great primer for marksmanship and high-speed shooting skills.
