I have a 317 (22LR).
I was having problems extracting empty cases.
Called S & W, got a prepaid UPS label, sent it to them on July 16, got it back today (July 26), they installed a NEW cylinder.
cant wait to get to the range.

Another plus for buying A Smith & Wesson. I have had 20 + years of excellent service from them. The price is right too, free.

They are very good.
Considering they pay both ways (including insurance), with next day air, no less.
Takes them a week to repair. I had a repair done. I checked on how much this would have cost me, if “I” had to pay for it. The cost would have been over $100 dollars (with no insurance), using their shipping method (next day air), both ways.
Check out other manufactures’ warranties’ and see what they give their owners.
Some have a third-party (gun-smith), doing the work. Where one pays for shipping and insurance both ways (pre-pay).
So if one thinks their expensive (S&W) to buy, think again!
p.s. also forgot. Their life-time warranty. Which is a given.
