Are any double-action caplock revolvers currently produced? This question may seem absurd, but remember that double-action revolvers such as the Starr and the Adams existed before cartridge revolvers appeared on the scene. I wonder if any of these double-actions have been reproduced in recent years.

There's a Starr BP at my local dealer. There is also a Swiss maker doing a reproduction Adams. I am told they are very, very expensive (but I want one anyway).

Sadly, I have learned that Andy Baumkircher is no longer making the Adams reproduction, after only producing a handful. Oh well. Here's a couple of originals.

The only one currently made AFAIK is the Starr and it is not technically double action - it is a trigger cocker. FWIW, the repro examples I have seen were of rather poor quality. The originals were well made guns.
