Must be some good ones out there.
Anyone wish to educate us as to what is out there?

Winchester '97's, 12's, 21's
Remington 31's
and tons of SXS's from all those european guys I can't afford.
Then all the commemorative stuff.
Problem is, none of it is as cheap as the C&R rifles/pistols seem to be.

You'll probably find them in estate sale-type settings or on Gunbroker/GunsAmerica/etc, not many countries have huge warehouses full of old shotguns they want to unload for cheap.

This may not be a problem any more but when I was coming up there were still plenty of old damascus or twist steel shotguns that should never be fired with smokeless. There also are many short chambered shotguns that will not handle current shells.
Secondly, the shotgun is a polarized market; there are scads of cheap no-name models sold by Sears, hardware stores, etc. and a few well-recognized marques that sell for fabulous sums - not much in between.
