I love my crkt m1. But I keep getting the urge to cut a chunk out of the back spine to make a wave. I mostly carry tip-up anyways.
The biggest catch is that the wave "edge" would be facing forward. Obviously, after deployment, this makes the most sense because then the blade would be facing out in an icepick grip. Is it possible to deploy a wave in the forward facing position? And for those who have done this with this model or any other, does it make the blade significantly weaker?
