Use of extended mags/barells in IDPA?

Is it legal to shoot a Glock 19 in SSP while using extended G17 mags? I just prefer the feel of the G19 with a G17 mag over the full sized frame of a G17/34. As long as I use a G17 mag consistently, any rule violations? In that same regard, for curiosity sake, if I wanted to purchase an extended barrel for my G19 (in 9mm), would that violate any rules? Thanks for any input you can provide.

I'm not sure if extended magazines are expressly forbidden, but I'm pretty sure extended barrels are a no-go (unless maybe it can come like that from the factory?).

I don't know if it has to fit in the box with or without the magazine in. If so,
maybe not, if not, you may be good. The cap is 10 rounds in the magazine, so there would be no added benefit other than feel if that's what you're carrying.

Gun and magazine MUST fit in the box. There is no restriction on the Glocks barrel length save and except the gun + mag must fit in the box. Gun also has to make weight for the division you intend to shoot.

Take care

An extended barrel, even if the gun still fit The Box, would no longer be "stock" and would have to enter ESP versus the .38 Supers and tweaked G34s. Some MDs might consider a G19 with G17 magazine the same.
